Bed Setup + Assembly

This article will help you understand what to expect when putting together your Cubby bed.

What tools will I need?

Your Cubby Bed will come with everything you need to put together the frame, including:

• 2 Hex Keys

• 40 Screws

Every bed comes with an instruction manual to guide you through the assembly of the Cubby. You can also refer to our assembly video below.

The mattress slats will also come with 10 screws and an additional Hex tool. Please take a look at the instructions included with the slats for assembly.

Cubby FAQs

• Do I have everything for my Cubby?

  Typically, the Cubby will arrive in 3 boxes, unless you also get a mattress or positioning wedge, which will arrive in a separate box.

• How long does it take to set up the Cubby?

  The bed typically takes one adult 2 hours to set up. Having another person as a helping hand will speed things up.

• How hard is it to move?

  The assembled bed without a mattress will weigh around 100 lbs., is very stable, and is too large to move around. Two adults can lift it to move it within a room. If you’re moving houses or rooms within the house, we recommend you disassemble the bed first then reassemble it in your desired location.
  
  If requested, we do offer wheels for the feet of the bed that enable movement and also have locking brakes.
