The role of Cubby Beds, medical suppliers, and your insurance company

Edited

Throughout your insurance/Medicaid journey, there will be three organizations you will be working with. These include your (1) health insurance company, (2) durable medical equipment (DME) suppliers, and (3) Cubby Beds. Below is an explanation of each organization.

1. Your Health Insurance Company

Health insurance companies play a vital role in the healthcare system by providing coverage for medical expenses. These companies offer a range of health insurance plans that individuals, families, and businesses can purchase to help cover the costs of healthcare services and durable medical equipment such as safety beds, which includes the Cubby Bed!

2. Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Suppliers

Durable medical equipment (DME) suppliers play an important role in the healthcare system by providing equipment and supplies that are necessary for the treatment and management of medical conditions. DME includes a wide range of products, such as wheelchairs, crutches, CPAP machines, and safety beds like Cubby Beds. We work with hundreds of DME suppliers across the country to assist families and bill their Insurance/Medicaid for their Durable Medical Equipment requests. They are responsible for collecting all documents to submit to your insurance/Medicaid, such as the prescription and the Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN).

3. Cubby Beds

Hey, that's us! Cubby Beds are the manufacturer of these safety beds with a mission of providing families with better sleep and safer nights.

At this time, Cubby Beds does not directly bill insurance/Medicaid. We are here to guide you if you have any questions or meet any roadblocks along your Cubby journey!
